About Her
Nicole zefanya, also known as Niki, was born and raised in Indonesia. At the young age of 9, Niki taught herself how to play guitar, and by the age of 13, started to make her own music. She started to gain more fame as she won a competition hosted by Taylor Swift, this allowed her to open for one of Taylor's show, giving her the spotlight she needed to boost her music career. She then went on to YouTube to post covers of songs gaining her 40,000 subscribers. As she realized she wanted to take this music career more serious, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to study music at Lipscomb university. She then went on to release "see you never" and "I like U" which gained tens of millions of plays on Spotify. With being a big singer in the Asian community, she joined the big Asian group called 88rising, which contained people such as Rich Brian, and Joji.
Albums
"Zephyr" is Niki's first album released 2018, after joining 88rising. Containing 8 songs, they lean into her trials of love and relationship. For example, in her song "Newsflash!" she sings about trying to brush off this guy.
"Moonchild" is Niki's second Album, released in 2020, containing 10 songs. This album was created to represent the three lunar phases, crescent moon, half-moon, and full-moon. The album was named "moonchild" because Niki felt as if she feels more empowered in the night compared to the day.
"wanna take this downtown?" is an EP that Niki released back in 2019 containing 4 songs. This Ep was based off her single lowkey. Niki wanted to always try this type of genre of music, but was always scared of trying something new. THis EP allowed her to express a side she never knew she had

"Chilly" is a single Niki released back in 2017. this song reflects on the relationship she had with her ex. Talking about how she misses having a person in her life to love and care for.
"I like U" is one of Niki's first songs she released on Spotify. Having 84 million plays on Spotify, this is one of her most popular songs. She released this song back in 2017, and talks about her experience with a friends with benefits situation.
"see U never" is Niki's first song released with 88rising back in 2017. This song made her make a jump from usually doing more Indie music to more of an R&B genre. This song was a big hit for many new fans getting into Niki's music.
