About Him
Keshi grew up in Houston Texas, it wasn't until he was 13 when he started to get into music. As he went to college at the University of Texas and became a registered nurse, that's when he started to pick things up in his music career. he started off by putting out songs on Soundcloud, self-teaching himself how to produce and write his own songs through youtube videos. he started releasing more songs during 2017. Keshi began gaining popularity with his songs "just friends" and "as long as it takes" making it to 1 million streams. From there, he built up a loyal fanbase, releasing 6 albums and many singles to this day. Reaching 4.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and even going on tours, Keshi's career still has lots more to offer.
Albums
"The Reaper" is one of Keshi's most famous albums, containing only 4 songs, each of them being very popular. He released this as his third EP back in November 2019. The track describes his struggling relationship with a girl, making him seek the reaper, the symbol of death.
"always" is Keshi's sixth EP and also one of his biggest, Creating some of his most popular songs such as "drunk" and "always". He focused on this album to end his old era of music and tried something new. Still having most of his songs expressing his heartbreaks, he added a twist of more pop into his music.
"skeletons" is Keshi's fifth EP. containing one of his top 10 songs "skeletons" this album was also a big hit for his career. Using more of an acoustic guitar sound for this album, giving it that deep meaning feeling through his songs. showing us how much emotional pain he's been through.
Music Videos
Keshi's B.Y.S music video was posted in October 2020. The video starts off showing Keshi and 3 other people robbing a bank. The heist goes smoothly and they access the bank vault. as soon as they start bagging the money, one of their heist members turns on them killing the others. This music video is Keshi's way of telling us that he's been betrayed badly by one of his close friends.
Keshi's Summer music video was posted in July 2019 promoting his EP "skeletons". This music video is more for the aesthetic rather than the meaning. the video shows him doing lots of summer activities so that he can be distracted from thinking about his past ex during summer. This music video currently has 2.3 million views on youtube.
